What's new in this update:

• Bring your fuel history in from another app with a CSV from Fuelly, Drivvo or your own spreadsheet. You say which column is which, answer whatever the file leaves unclear, and check it before anything is saved
• In Plus, every full tank you record is measured against your own average, with the difference on screen as you save it
• Open a record and duplicate it so you don't need to fill it all in again
• On a vehicle you share, if someone saves a change a moment before you do, OdoKeep tells you your edit did not go through, instead of quietly replacing it
• Costs and prices are read in the language you picked in OdoKeep, not in your phone's region

• Search the service list instead of scrolling, with your most frequently logged services waiting at the top.
• Signing up now sends a six-digit code to your inbox. Just enter it to complete your account setup.
• Each insurance policy now shows the total amount you've paid. Tax records clearly display their due dates, and you can log an inspection from the day it becomes due or add past ones. Plus, deleting a policy or tax record now asks for confirmation first.
• Records on a shared vehicle now show exactly who logged them.
• We've polished the interface for a smoother experience and squashed several bugs.

And the check engine light is finally off.

What's new in this update:

• Dedicated Service Screens: Tap any service to open a screen just for it. You see when the next one is due, by distance or by date, whichever arrives first, next to what you have spent on it and how often you actually do it. Every time you logged it is listed, oldest to newest, and you can open any of those records from there.
• Reminder Times And Muted Services: Pick more than one time of day and every reminder arrives at each time you choose. You can also mute individual services, and tire pressure reminders are counted from the last check you logged, so picking nothing means they never interrupt you.
• Mileage-Based Intervals: Servicing intervals are worked out in miles, so a service falls due at the mileage the job calls for.
• Plus And Account Changes: Upgrading to Plus ends on a thank-you screen. Closing your account asks first whether something went wrong, so you can tell us instead, and nothing is deleted while we sort it out.
• Delete Confirmations: Deleting a label or a vehicle confirms with a message, so you know it went through.
• Steadier Text Entry: Tire size, oil viscosity, and the insurance, inspection, and tax fields stop rewriting what you type. A cost too large to store tells you before you save it.

And the odometer clicks back to all zeros.

OdoKeep is on the App Store. Everything below works today, on iPhone, and works with no connection at all.

The logbook

• Nine kinds of record: fill-ups, servicing, cleaning, tolls, road tax, insurance, invoices, notes and tyre pressures. A fill-up works out its own consumption and its cost per distance from the odometer reading you gave it.
• Petrol, diesel, electric charging, LPG and AdBlue all go in as energy, so a plug and a pump end up in the same history.
• A garage of cars, motorcycles and vans, with brand and model badges, plates formatted for the country that issued them, your own labels and colours, and search by brand, model or plate.
• Tyre pressures taken wheel by wheel on a diagram of the vehicle, with seasons, axles and sets.

The dates you would rather not have to remember

• Insurance, inspection and road tax, each counting down, each with a reminder scheduled on the device thirty days out, seven days out and on the day itself.
• Those reminders are free on every plan and will stay that way. A missed inspection costs a fine, and charging for the warning would be charging for your own risk.
• A maintenance plan that works out what the vehicle needs next from three sources, in falling order of confidence: an interval you set, a job you logged plus the catalogue interval, and a job never logged once the app has been watching for longer than the interval. Free as well, because it is your own records read back to you. What Plus adds is the app telling you before it falls due, without anyone opening anything.
• Snooze a service, or drop it for good.

Where the money went

• Cost per kilometre or mile, cost per month, average consumption, spending by category, a monthly chart you can scrub through, a consumption trend, and the costs that stand out.
• Over fifty currencies, each cost converted at the rate of the day it happened rather than at today rate, so a tank bought abroad two years ago still reads as what it cost.
• Fuel prices near you, sorted by price, by distance, or by what filling the tank would come to. Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Austria, from the official feed each country publishes, free rather than part of Plus. It also says what each source cannot do: Austrian law publishes only the five cheapest stations per district, the Italian feed updates once a day at 08:00, and the Portuguese one covers the mainland.

Two people, one car

• Invite somebody by email as viewer, driver or manager, and change or revoke a role whenever you like.
• Being invited is free. A borrowed vehicle never counts against your own limit, and everything you logged stays with the owner if you leave.

Yours, and on your phone

• It works with no signal. Records are written on the device, encrypted, and queued for sync with backoff until they land.
• Face ID or Touch ID lock.
• Export everything to CSV or JSON, and bring it back.
• A PDF of the maintenance history, and one of a comparison between vehicles, both generated on the phone.
• Delete the account and everything in it, from inside the app.

Log a fill-up, update the odometer, ask what the odometer reads, ask what the car needs next, ask what you have spent this month, or put a service off. By voice, or from the Shortcuts app.

Ten markets, not one translation

English for the United States, Britain and Australia, Portuguese for Portugal and Brazil, Spanish for Spain and Mexico, and then German, Italian and French. Each one uses the words its own market uses for the paperwork, and its own units: miles or kilometres, litres or gallons, imperial or US gallons for economy, bar or psi.
