Delete your account. With or without the app.
You can delete your OdoKeep account and its data yourself, from inside the app, in under a minute. If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, write to us and we delete it for you.
Three steps, from your profile.
It works the same on iPhone and Android, and deletes the account you are signed in to.

Open OdoKeep and sign in to the account you want to delete.

Go to Profile > Edit profile and tap Delete account.

Answer the one question about whether something went wrong, then press and hold the button to confirm. Deletion starts at once and cannot be undone.
Want to keep a copy? Export your data first, from Settings > Data, as JSON or CSV.
Deleting the account does not cancel a Plus subscription: the store keeps billing it until you cancel it there. Cancel it first, in the store you bought it from.
What goes, and what stays.
Deleting the account is a hard delete, not a hidden archive. A few things outlast it, and the privacy policy explains each one.
Deleted
- Your account: your name, your email address and the way you sign in.
- Your whole garage on our servers: vehicles, records, odometer readings, obligations, service schedules and labels.
- The sharing of your vehicles: the invitations sent for them and everyone's access to them.
- On your phone, the summary file the home-screen widgets read.
Kept
- Your support tickets and their messages, so an open issue or a billing dispute can still be settled. You can ask for them to be erased too.
- Backups made before the deletion, until they expire: within 7 days for the daily backup and 90 days for the weekly copy. They are used for nothing else.
- Records you added to a vehicle somebody shared with you. They belong to that vehicle and stay in its owner's history.
- The transaction records Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep under their own rules.
Write to us instead.
No app, or no way to sign in? Send an email asking for your account to be deleted, and we delete it and its data as described above.
- Send it from the email address on your OdoKeep account. That is how we know the request is yours, and we may ask you to confirm it before we act.
- We reply without undue delay and within one month, as the GDPR requires. A complex request can take up to two more months, and if it does, you are told why within the first month.
- It costs nothing.
